Art Exhibit Planned for Photographers

Dickinson Museum Center is planning a photography exhibit showcasing Badlands Art Association artists. The exhibit will be on display from February 1 to 27, 2020 in the Joachim Museum wing at the Dickinson Museum Center.

This exhibit is created for photography only. It is open to all artists and features BAA artists.

HOW TO ENTER
Artists planning to submit their photographs must deliver their entry to the museum starting January 13th to 24th. Hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday thru Saturday. Please note that the Museum is closed on January 18th and 20th for Martin Luther King Day. Please use the Dinosaur Museum front doors for delivering your art pieces.

PRESENTATION OF YOUR WORK
Photographs must be framed or matted, ready for display. You can submit up to seven pieces, but if the exhibit is short of space, not all will be displayed. Attached to the back of the photo should be a card with the title of the piece, name of the artist, telephone number and price or NFS (not for sale). The museum will not be able to sell the art works, but can, and will share artists’ information, so please include a business card. Also accepted is an artist statement or information about the art piece on a letter-sized or smaller paper.

Artists can pickup their work starting March 6 into the following week.

For more information, please call the Museum at 456-6225.
