BAA May Meeting

Monthly Meetings & Location Changes

BAA Meeting Location has Changed.

During the April meeting, which was the last one to be held at DSU, attending members suggested new meeting locations such as Able, Fluffy Fields, Dickinson Extension Service and private homes. It was decided that May’s meeting will be held at Able, Inc. located at 1951 1st Street West. This is the general office of Able and not the Thrift Center. The general office is located across from the Dickinson Press.

BAA Meeting Tuesday, May 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
ABLE, Inc. 1951 1st Street W. Dickinson, ND

At the meeting, members will create collage postcards.
Using collage papers adds a whole new element to your art so if you haven’t tried this technique, it will surely be eye opening and broaden possibilities. Please bring the following materials if you have them available. If you don’t, that’s ok too! We will have extra available.

  • · A watercolor wash brush
  • · Matte medium
  • · Small container to hold the matte medium
  • · Container for dirty water

SUMMER MEETINGS

The June meeting will be at the Dickinson Extension Service, the red “barn” across from the Recreation Center (the ice rink) and will be held on Wednesday June 21st at 6:30. A picnic and photography opportunities are on the agenda. The grounds at the Extension Service have exquisite flower beds and landscape plantings.
The July meeting, which will be filled with Fall Show information, has not yet been determined.
