The Badlands Art Association (BAA) is holding the 51st Annual Badlands Art Show, from November 12 to 14, at the Roosevelt Grand Dakota Hotel in Dickinson, ND.

 

 

 

Dates and Times to Remember:

Nov. 11 — 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Hand delivered artworks Due at Roosevelt Grand Dakota Hotel
Nov. 12 — before the show Judging – NO VISITORS
Nov. 12 — 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Opening Reception for artists and public
Nov. 13 — 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Exhibition hours
Nov. 14 — 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Exhibition hours

ARTFUL NATURAL EARTH CONTEST ND 2021

STUDENT ART SHOW AND COMPETITION – FIVE SPECIAL JUDGE’S AWARDS

  • Open to all students entering the BAA Student Art Show
  • Art will consist of any media and size. Must be ready to hang.
  • Artwork will be hung with the appropriate grade divisions and identified with the 4×6 index card attached to the entry
  • All artwork will represent native species to the United States and found in North Dakota. This may need some research.
  • One entry per student.

Five categories: One $50 award in each category

  1. Mammals, reptiles, or amphibians
  2. Birds
  3. Insects
  4. Plants and flowers
  5. Aquatic life

A 4×6 index card should be submitted with each entry explaining why you liked the subject and why, in your opinion you think it is important to our ecosystem. This won’t influence the judge. It will identify your entry in this contest. Include your name, address, age and school attended.
